On Thursday, September 24, we’ll be guests at “INSIDE. Understanding Work, Building Participation,” the 57th National Study Conference of the ACLI (Italian Christian Workers’ Associations), at the Palazzo della Gran Guardia in Verona.
At 6:00 p.m., there will be a screening of the documentary film “When We Fight” by Yael Bridge and Yoni Golijov (USA, 2022, 34’), which chronicles the massive 2019 school strike in Los Angeles that involved 30,000 teachers xand was led largely by women. This broad movement fought — and achieved significant victories — against the privatization of public schools and for better living conditions for workers, students, and families.
The film had its Italian premiére in 2024 at the seventh edition of the WTFF, and we are delighted that it continues its journey.
We thank ACLI for involving us; you can find the event program here.
