Molfetta, Apulia, Southern Italy: fishing has shaped the social and economic system of the town throughout the centuries. The voices of the fishermen recreate the memories of Molfetta harbour, with blurried boundaries between chronicle and ancient rituals, historical events and memoirs.

Andrea Gadaleta Caldarola (1979) is a documentary director and editor. He teaches editing, video postproduction, cinematography, visual effects, compositing and color correction. Before Mare nostro, he directed the documentaries Nomos (2012) and Destination de Dieu (2014).
