After nearly forty years in Italy, Abdelouahab (Aldo) decides to go back home to Morocco. His son Ilyass (Elia), grown up in Lombardy, accompanies him through a van journey, which is the opportunity to explain, encounter and sometimes confront each other. Aldo had found work and well-being in the Italy of the 80s, on the contrary Elia suffers a dead-end precarious condition. Stories of immigration and generational differences, in a road movie through the Po Valley, France, Spain, and Morocco.
