Synopsis AMP – People’s Medical Surgery occupies a space on the groundfloor of Via dei Transiti, Milan, where it has been resisting since 1994, providing basic healthcare to those who formally would not have the right to receive it. Through this practice questions arise around the invisible forces that move it and allow it to survive, in between the quest to safeguard the right to healthcare and collective action.
Directors’ bio-filmography Chiara Campara (1987) wrote and directed the feature film Lessons of Love, which was selected for the programme Biennale College Cinema and screened at the Venice Film Festival. Vittoria Soddu (1986) began exploring with the audiovisual language starting with performance art and then integrated experimental cinema, publishing projects, and sculptural installations.
