Synopsis In 1984, on a February morning, the workers of a knitting factory in France find out with anger about the closing of the plant. The boss has been quietly moving stocks and machines for months. Then these women occupied the factory for 722 days. Among them, Odette, the director’s maternal grandmother.

Director’s bio-filmography Pauline Pastry (1992) graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris specializing in photography and video. Through video, photography, sculpture and publishing, she explores the evolution of the working condition. Her films, among which The Elastic Limit (2017) and Opus (2020), have been shown in several festivals in France and abroad.
